I have been up for about 38 hours now. It’s been a long couple of days of traveling. I stopped in Cincinnati Bengals/Northern Kentucky Airport on the way home, which is where I stopped on the way to Vegas all the way back in May. I’m still not sure if it’s in Cinci or Kentucky or both. I do know it was little hick airport, and I had to walk to the plane on the tarmac, climb the stairs to get on the tiny plane, where I was then greeted by the flight attendant Birdie. Yes, her name was Birdie, and I’m gonna take a shot in the dark that she was from that region of our glorious country. The service on the plane was great though. I’ve seen things I haven’t seen in years, and some things I’ve never seen. She actually showed me how to buckle my seat belt with a real belt, not a video. She even showed about the oxygen masks and the flotation devices. Talk about old school. At the end of the plane ride, she was either telling me my breath was bad, or just giving out mints to everyone, but man, I’ve never got a mint at the end of a flight. I guess it’s those little things that got it voted the #1 airport in the country. But now I’m back, and getting ready for bed. I don’t know about you, but I’m getting up early tomorrow and making my way down to John’s Roast Pork to grab me a little bite of good old fashioned Philadelphia cooking.
