Not that any of this garbage really matters, but it appears that the Eagles are rated #2 in ESPN’s power rankings. Boy, for being such a crappy team, getting stuck at #2 is really high isn’t it? Much higher than the Steelers at ::cough cough:: #11, or the team that has the NFC East “wrapped” up, the #15 NY Giants. As a matter of fact, I consulted the all mighty ESPN experts to see as to whom they thought would win the NFC East, and low and behold, 15 of 19 picked the Eagles. Shocking. Two of those four are Merril Hoge and Sean Salisbury who I don’t think even thought the Eagles would win a regular season game last year. They won 12; the Power Rankings are saying they should be doing that again this year. However, like I already said, I know this stuff doesn’t matter at all. That’s what really scares me because these guys are always wrong. If they weren’t, they’d probably live in Vegas. The only real time there should really ever be any discussion on these matters is after Sunday, February 1st, which I’m sorry to say, I don’t think will really affect the Steelers, the Giants, and ::gulp:: the Eagles. As much as it hurts every “ignorant” bone in my body to say, I think that Tampa Bay’s #3 QB, Chris Simms, is going to lead the Bucs to another ::sigh:: Super Bowl victory. I will on the other hand keep rooting for the Eagles even though they’ll probably have another dissapointing season, but that’s called being loyal, and that’s what I’m all about.
