I got my new phone today, a Motorola v400. It’s a sweet, sweet lookin phone and it has a lot of cool features that I think I’ll be happy with. It’s got a camera for taking pictures of strange cows driving down the road, MP3 ringtones so I can ignore people’s calls and just listen to a song and a picture phonebook that will display a picture of the person who is calling (as long as I’ve taken their picture – this thing ain’t magic). Now I just gotta get the data cable, that’s gonna set me back about $30, so that I can put any wallpapers or MP3s on the phone that I want for free from my computer. But you’re going to pay $30 for the cable. How is that free moron? Well practically free I guess. Over the time I have the phone, and the amount of MP3s I have, I can change them weekly. Over the course of… say a year, that’s 52 new sets of songs I can put on the phone. If I put 3 songs on the phone per set, that’s over 1500 ringtones I can possibly have for just $30. That’s about as free as it can get. But that’s still 2 cents a song, that’s not free. Buddy, you’re on my last nerve. Anyway, I’m not gonna start using the new Cingular phone til my AT&T; plan ends in about 2 weeks, this way I can try to build up some rollover minutes or something like that. Sounds like a plan. Yes… yes it does.
