American Idiot rings true apparently.

I can honestly say that I am embarrassed to be an American today. I just don’t understand how a man can lose an election in 2000 but somehow win the presidency, then have the worst presidential term in office ever for the American people, and come back 4 years later with more votes than he got when he lost but won. The whole thing just sounds stupid because it is. It used to be that only George Bush appeared stupid in the eyes of the rest of the world. It is now 51% of the people in this country who tomorrow morning will look like morons in the eyes of the rest of the world. It is a really sad time for this country and it should definitely be enough to make all of us question what kind of country we live in. I heard too many people say that they were voting for Bush because they don’t trust John Kerry. However, to continue on a downward spiral because you are too scared of what could change for better or for worse sounds too much like a loser mentality that has now been stamped on all of us. Because of 51% of the American people, we are all losers for only a small percentage of the American people had anything to gain from Bush’s re-election. From TerenTenTen news, this is Brett… signing off.
