No, of course not… don’t be absurd. Changing guitar strings is possibly the worst thing on the planet to do. Well not that bad, but I truly hate doing it. Anyway, that’s how I spent my morning guitar session. I felt like it was time. I played a couple songs and was so tired of the strings not staying in tune, that I just had to. I mean I hadn’t played in probably 9 months and I probably hadn’t changed them for 6 months before that. That’s way too long to go even if I didn’t play all that much. I had Power Slinkys on before, but this time I put my old favorites, Super Slinkys, on. I really think I like the Power Slinkys more, but I did not have a backup set of them, so I was stuck. It’ll be ok for 6 months or so. I’m eating carrots for lunch. Are they better than changing guitar strings on your guitar? Yes, by far.
