I finally got around to taking my first MCSE test. Felt wierd taking a test again. I scheduled it Friday and had all weekend to look forward to it. I always though they were 45 questions and it took 90 minutes, but when I scheduled it, it said it was about 4 hours. That sounded harsh. It turns out that accounts for other stuff than just the test. They count reading instructions and I guess just setting up. I was the only one in the room and when the timer started, it was at like 3 hours I think. I finished it in just under 2 hours. I didn’t pass it which is upsetting, but I didn’t really plan on passing it today. I more or less just wanted to get a feel for how the tests were. I’m glad I did it, because it was quite different than the practice tests I have been taking. I figure I’ll take it again in like 2 weeks. But now I gotta study.
