This week’s game was a lot less stressful than last week’s Chargers scare. We took the Minnesota Vikings on the road over the Detroit Lions. I mean the Lions haven’t won a game since December 2007… How the hell are they going to stop Adrian Peterson from running all over the place? He looked like a monster last week against Cleveland. It should be like Godzilla tearing through Japan. Only worse. Not even Megatron will be able to stop him. Ooooh! Who would win in a fight… Godzilla or Megatron? We will see. Roll that beautiful bean footage.

Well Megatron jumped out first giving the Lions a decent lead. The Vikings just came out flat and were actually in a 10-0 hole through most of the 2nd quarter. It didn’t seem like they could get anything going. Despite that though, you never really thought they were in danger of losing the game. A better way to put it is you never really thought the Lions were capable of winning this game. And that’s how it went. The Vikings didn’t go all Hiroshima on the Lions however they won handily, 27-13, and we now move on to week 3. Nice.
