Weezer – Green Album (2001) : There was a time this decade when all I listened to was Weezer. This record is why. It’s what got me into the group. After I heard this album, I finally gave the non single tracks on the Blue Album another chance and then discovered a little gem called Pinkerton which I never even knew existed. Thank heaven for that. For me though, this is defintely where it all started. There’s not a bad song on this record and every song has me singing within 10 seconds. The songs are tight and poppy. It’s just a real fun disc. Just what everyone could use once in a while. Weezer released a good deal of music in the last 10 years but this was easily their best material during the span.
Highlights – Don’t Let Go, Photograph, Island In The Sun
