So what did I think about Revolutions? Well… I liked it. I may be one of the few, but I did. Sure, it could have been better, but I don’t know how. I think everyone was just expecting too much. And I don’t mean that in a bad way in that Revolutions was bad. I mean that like when the original Matrix came out, it was so original and mind blowing that nothing could really compare to it. And they couldn’t just come up with a completely new mind blowing experience for each movie. You just gotta think of it as one long movie with no breaks. If the original Matrix was this big 6 hour epic what would you think then. You’d probably think the same way about the original Matrix. That it was a damn good movie with an amazing original concept.

Anyway, this movie made you think a lot more than the last movie, and I like that. I always enjoy the car rides home that I’m thinking about stuff. But it didn’t make me think too much that I’m confused and need another movie to clear it up. So that’s good. I enjoyed it. I want to see it again. Some things could have been different, but like the Merovingian said, “We are all victims of causality. I drink too much wine, I must take a piss. Cause and effect.” That doesn’t make any sense, I just like that line. I also really like the Merovingian a lot now.

Oh, but back to the topic at hand. The ending could have been a little better. The whole fight between Neo and Smith was a little weak. But the whole last 4 minutes with the Oracle and the Architect and the last exile was interesting. And I do see it fitting that everything else worked out the way it did, and it couldn’t have happened any other way. It seems so clear to me now, I just feel a little retarded for not picking up on it sooner. I’m tired of writing about this movie. I’m done.

What I’m listening to right now: Silence
