Batman Begins was just amazingly awesome. It will be the best movie of the year. I can’t wait for the next one. It should also be amazing. After Batman & Robin, Batman could have shit on the screen and it would have been better. I always enjoyed Batman Forever before that, but that too had a very cartoony feel that completely strayed from the original 2 movies. Tim Burton did a good job with Batman and Batman Returns. I cannot complain about them. I always loved those movies and after seeing the trailers for this, I was happy the dark feel was going to return. It certainly was dark, the story was exceptional and the movie just worked out great. Christian Bale was a great Batman. Although I’ve never been a big fan of Katie Holmes, I was happy with her performance. She looked pretty good in her scenes. Morgan Freeman is the coolest black dude ever and Liam Neeson is putting together a good summer for himself after one of my other favorite movies of the summer, Kingdom of Heaven. I was just so psyched leaving the theater tonight. Man, it was such a good story watching Batman begin. Just a lot really cool stuff in there. I can’t wait to watch Batman continue because these movies can all be so good if they keep Hollywood away from them.
