So I’ve gotten a few comments from people saying they can’t keep track of my “messed up schedule”. No one ever knows when Brett is working or when Brett is sleeping or when Brett is awake. No one but me. But I’m here to shed a little light on the mystery of Brett Time (BT). It’s really not that hard. Based on a normal 9AM to 5PM work schedule, all you have to do subtract 14 hours PT from your time or 17 hours ET. For example: You get done work at 5PM ET, what time is it for Brett? 5PM ET = 1700 – 1700 = 0000 hours Brett time. It’s that simple. So if you get off of work at 5PM ET, don’t call me as I will probably be sleeping since it’s my Midnight. How about when you wake up in the morning, say 7AM ET. 7AM ET = 0700 – 1700 = 1400 hours BT. Bingo! It’s safe to call me because I’m at work since it’s 2PM BT. Now calling me at work is not the best idea for the most part since I am kinda well trying to work. What could be a better time? Let’s look at it from Brett’s perspective. I get off work at 1700PM BT and go to sleep at around 2300PM BT. For this conversion, we do some simple algebra and realize we just add 17 hours ET. 1700 + 1700 = 3400 – 2400 = 10 ET to 2300 + 1700 = 4000 – 2400 = 1600 ET, or 10AM – 4PM Eastern Standard Time. So there we have it. It’s not really hard to get a hold of Brett now is it. He is around a lot. And most of that 6 hours he is watching MacGyver, Seven Days or Comedy Central. So try not to think of Brett being in a land far far away. Unless it’s the weekend. Then things get truly out of whack and nothing what I just told you stays true to form. But since it’s the weekend, feel free to call me whenever and I’ll just be rude if I’m sleeping. I won’t hate you forever.
I’m currently watching: MacGyver
