And the Passion of Christ sucks. It shouldn't be stereotyping Jews. It's just a movie. People shouldn't be listening to it's shitty message. Mel Gibson... what on Earth are you trying to do? You're crazy. You're a man without a face... stop persecuting Jews. You antisemitic bastards. And to think, I liked your movies.
And why are Christian's speakers so loud? LOWER THEM.

This morning was a pretty good one. I got my Brother Bear today. It came in a great big package, so that was obviously good times for all. 2 packages in 1 week. One full of the best brownies ever, and the other full of Brother Bear and pretty cool lithos. And also, I found out basketball is cancelled on Friday because of some gymnastics meet, so that means I can sleep in. I think I'll go eat a hot dog.

What's wrong here? Friends seasons cost an exorbitant amount of money yet you can buy all 4 seasons of
Sanford & Son for like $100 normally, and $43.96 with FREE SHIPPING during Best Buy's current promotion. That seams like a steal to me, while Friends prices just don't seem right. 4 seasons of Sanford & Son spanning 11 discs or 1 season of Friends for almost the same cost? Hmmm.
On a side note, you can currently stock up on your
Kidsongs DVDs. 3 for $20. That should be illegal. I mean who would want to buy anything else? Underselling every other DVD out there just like that shouldn't be allowed.

I guess day 46 is the day that it seemed to suddenly turn depressing. It never really kicked in until yesterday, but it hit hard. I don't know, but this had better get better cause if the days get progressively worse towards graduation, life is not going to be fun over the next month. Oh man.

A quick look into our fridge would tell you that it is very full. But as you look more closely, you will see that it is made up mostly of
- Alcohol
- Milk
- Orange Juice
Now the alcohol makes sense because there are a lot of different types of alcohol for each person to have. And the milk? Alright... we all drink milk. However, the OJ is quite baffling. I do not have any OJ in the fridge, however there are more OJs than there are people in this house. There are 3 of us in the apartment, and there are 4 cartons of orange juice. And remember I don't have any OJ. What's going on here? I'm confused.

It's not quite April yet, but I couldn't wait as usual, and finally FHM is giving me something to enjoy hanging on my wall. The last 2 months were terrible, and I can't remember January so it couldn't have been that great, but April... boy oh boy April. So I've been working on the album all day. I started laying down a lot of my parts and figuring out everything that needs to be done in the next 2 weeks. It's all coming together. On top of the original 9 songs spanning 29 minutes, we've got another 4 songs adding over 16 more minutes coming. The album should be just shy of 50 minutes in the end. I don't really care about a deadline anymore. I originally wanted it done April 13th, but what's the rush at this point? Just so long as it's done by the end of the year.
Boooooo. Yeah, yeah, quit your complaining. It should still be done the 13th, I'm just saying I want it done no later than 23rd. Yeah, that's an awkward release day, but like I already said, it should be done before that.
Now it's time to get ready to go out tonight.
22 eh? Yep.

Good evening ladies and gentlemen. I thought I'd just check in before I went to bed to make a few quick announcements:
- St. Joe's won tonight. That's good. I didn't think you'd win tonight, but I'm glad you did. Keep it going boys as long as you can.
- I bought a Milky Way and a Cadbury Egg tonight. I have yet to complete them, but I'm looking forward to it. I don't remember ever eating a Cadbury Egg but I've heard nice things about them. This could be the last time I go into McLanahans after I've been drinking.
- I need a new pair of sneakers. I'm not sure what I want exactly at this moment, but I'm getting there.
- I'm going to bed.
Once there was a way to get back homeward
Once there was a way to get back home
Sleep pretty darling do not cry
And I will sing a lullabye
Golden slumbers fill your eyes
Smiles awake you when you rise
Sleep pretty darling do not cry
And I will sing a lullabye

Artist of the day -
Ozzy Osbourne
Even though he has sold out as of late with the devil MTV, that still doesn't diminish what he has accomplished throughout his musical career. He wanted to be a Beatle, but instead he became the poster boy of metal. Now I don't really consider Ozzy to be metal, I think of him to be more hard rock, but whatever it is, it sure is good. I guess it's because he started with Black Sabbath, who in my opinion are terrible and will never be featured in this Band of the Day section. Anyway, the short time he made music with Randy Rhoads created some of the best guitar driven music ever, and nothing he can do on MTV can ruin that. Oh yeah, and the stuff he made after that with Zack wasn't too bad either.

Going to bed on Sundays has always been one of my least favorite things about life. Dude, I'm seriously. There's never anything on TV to go to sleep to, everyone always seems to go to bed before me, the weekend is over and there's class to not look forward to in the morning. Oh, and I can't wait til the women's tourney is over because this friggin commercial with the Extraordinary song is making me seriously consider hating life altogether. I don't know much about Liz Phair, but I do know that she is completely and utterly worthless and she should not be allowed to try to make music. Someone has to shut that bitch up. Please.

Today was such a crappy day. The Vet's gone, my bracket got completely owned, not that it didn't really happen yesterday too, and I spent 7 straight hours working on my IST 421 case for tomorrow. Then when I walked home 7 hours after I had originally left, my hoodie just wasn't enough for the bitter winds that were trying to make me die as I walked home from the IST building. What a good way to end the weekend. I just can't wait to get up for class in the morning. Hey, at least I just laughed like I haven't laughed in a long time watching the new South Park episode. I just watched an hour of some of the best Comedy Central presents I've ever seen. The first guy was good and the second guy was great. The first guy was Bob Oschack and the 2nd guy was
Demetri Martin. Now lets see. Bob Oschack was funny, but Martin just had an awesome show. More than just jokes. He began telling straight jokes, stuff along the lines of Mitch Hedberg, however he ended up having a wierd kinda stage show at the same time. I can't really explain it, you just have to hopefully find it and watch it yourself. Hilarious. He's a really smart guy, dropped out of NYU Law school with a full scholarship, so he's full of good ideas and stuff. Man, I gotta find his show. I need an

Oh, and just for archival purposes, about 3 inches of snow dropped last night. Good thing tomorrow is the first day of Spring. Cause seasons actually mean something anymore. They should just do seasons by which sports events are going on at the time. That makes more sense than anything they've been able to come up with up until now. And more people would be able to relate with it. So I'm gonna let their system play out for the next couple weeks, but on March 30th, I'm gonna usher in Baseball season. I watched Wrestlmania XX tonight on practically a 72 hour delay. It was incredibly long, but I guess it's where it all begins again, so it must be the best. A lot happened, some good, some bad. I saw some good stuff tonight, but nothing was really outstanding until the final match. The triple threat match between Benoit, Michaels and Triple H for the World Heavyweight Championship was just outstanding. I knew what was gonna happen in most of the matches, including the final match, but it was still great watching it play out. I got nothing but respect for those 3. Other than that, everything else was pretty average. Undertaker's return was way too overhyped and sorta let me down cause he's not really Old School Undertaker, he's more like Undertaker crossed with the American Badass. I don't know. Maybe I just want it to be 1992 again.
Speaking of 1992, after Wrestlemania XX, I stumbled upon this
old school WWF page. The kid who made the page is only slightly younger than me, so it can almost be seen through my eyes. I read it all and it brought back plenty of memories of all the great wrestling I grew up with. He is so true when he says that's the best era in wrestling, because once that era ended, I stopped watching wrestling. Read that shit, it's a good history.
Also in the world of wrestling, it turns out there's gonna be a
new draft this upcoming Monday Night RAW. The first draft was 2 years ago, and I guess things just didn't work out. The two shows were always completely unbalanced with Smackdown pretty much only having Kurt Angle, The Undertaker and Brock Lesner. Now that Brock is leaving to try his hand in the NFL, Smackdown is in complete disarray, and I guess they're gonna try and fix it. It should be interesting; I can't wait to watch as I missed the first draft. So Monday will be the new draft, Tuesday
The Rundown comes out and on April 2nd,
Walking Tall comes out. Wrestling is all over the place, and I love it.

Band of the day -
Metallica(Kill 'Em All, Ride the Lightning, Master of Puppets, ...And Justice for All, and maybe the Black Album)
From 1980 - 1990, Metallica rocked and they rocked hard. It was all downhill from there on, however what they left us during the '80s will keep people energized for a long long time. Ranging from thrash to heavy metal, they changed the scene in the '80s with their speed, volume and intracate, melodic songs. The band continued to grow and change from album to album, but throughout the '80s you could say each album just got better and better.

The 2004 Yahoo! Fantasy Baseball League draft is now over. Thank you for attending. I'm happy with my team, "Phillie Mignon", however I think everyone is happy with their team for the most part. With only 6 guys in the league, it was an all out rush to see who could accumulate the best All-Star team. We'll just have to see how everything plays out in the end. My first pick was Alfonso Soriano and my 22nd and final pick was Milton Bradley. I didn't pick up Bret Myers or Matt Mantei until after the draft was done, because I felt that I needed more pitching. I think they round out a good pitching staff. I didn't really need Edgar Martinez, or Lieberthal at the moment because there are still some pretty decent catchers left in the free agency pool. Oh well, time to wait for the season to start. Only a few more weeks.

You know, when you think about it, I mean really think about it, I still have 1/16th of my college career left ahead of me. That seems like a pretty hefty chunk of time left to me. Just something to think about to make the day a little brighter.
Notice it's after 4:00. That's because tonight was a very good night. We went to see the movie, however when we got there, it was sold out. For some reason I always forget to buy the tickets at
MovieTickets.com. Well before we left for the movie, my boy Matt called me up and said he was in the area for the night, so since we didn't see the movie, we headed over there at around 7:30.
Notice it's after 4:00. That's because tonight was a good night. All the south Jersey crew came up and we hung out all night in Bensalem. We drank beers, smoked the hookah, played cards, sat around the fire telling stories. It was a good night for all. And on top of it, I got some good reviews on the Monstaz Inc. - Turning A Prophet album that isn't quite finished yet, but will be done shortly. Just in case any of you were still thinking about it. Just keep yourself together. Everything will come in time. But now it's once again another late night. I didn't go to the show so that it wouldn't be a late night, but it has turned out to be the latest night yet. And I'm beat. So I'm going to bed. I'm sleeping in since we're not leaving here til around 2. I'll be up at... noon. That should sound good normally, but right now it sounds pretty crappy if you ask me.

Tonight I went down to
Dave & Buster's for Rob's birthday. It was fun, but I'm so tired now. I was up at 10:30 today so I could make it to John's, and now it's 3 and I'll be going to bed shortly just in time to wake up at 10 tomorrow cause I gotta get my stupid hair cut. Tonight was good though. I won at pool, drank some beers, and criticized all of the events of the evening and made fun of people... oh yeah, and we did a lot of driving through the ghetto. Which brings me to my main point... only in the ghetto will you see a man dressed in camo coming out of a seafood store at 1:30 in the morning... only in the ghetto will you see a limousine parked in the middle isle of a large street (Broad St.), outside of a fried chicken place, at 2:00 in the morning. Only the ghetto will let this joke of mine work...
"Hey Maurice, it's 1AM, you hungry? Sure thing... you know what I'm feelin? What? Scallops!!! Let's go get a pound of em over at the late night seafood takeout. Good idea, I'll grab my hooptie and we'll be on our way."Well tomorrow is another day. Last real day of break as Sunday is always just commuting and realizing that we have school tomorrow. And our final spring break is over. I'll miss that much needed week off "holiday". Tomorrow's gonna be pretty busy. I'm waking up early, running some errands, doing laundry, and tomorrow night I'm going to South Street for the first time ever to see
Sinch. I'm probably also gonna throw a nap in there somewhere so that I can manage to stay awake tomorrow night. I smell like cigarette smoke. D&B's doesn't let you smoke cigars or pipes, but they'll let you smoke cigarettes... the worst of the evils. Anyway, I'm going to bed.

Yo yo yo. I saw Rahzel and Mike Patton tonight. Rahzel as you all know is the Godfather of Noyze... the undisputed beatbox champion of the world... and you might remember Mike Patton as the lead singer of Faith No More... yeah, that band with that Epic song and the video with the dying fish. Well the show was definitely an experience. It was full of experimental shit starting from the first opening DJ. He was pretty crappy, I can't remember his name, or maybe I can, but I just don't want to plug him here. It seemed to me his experiment was just feedback, and that has been done. Everything he did just sounded like noise. But then this guy by the name of
DJ Js One came out. His stuff was friggin hot. He was just a performance scratcher, but he was mixing some cool stuff. He spun everything from like a lot of classic rock stuff like Zeppelin and Rush, to some good rap stuff like my boy Nas. Once he was done, Rahzel and Patton came on. They were doing some more experimental stuff I think. Razhel was laying down all his sweet ass percussion beat box noises, and Patton was using effects and stuff and making noises and stuff over Rahzel. Some of it sounded bad, but a lot of it was freakin awesome. Especially when Rahzel did his meatrack beatboxing and harmony at the same time stuff. Man, that shit was off the hook. I'm not sure if I'd see them as a duo again, but it was pretty cool seeing it once. I'd see Rahzel again if he did more beatboxing and rapping and stuff, but no more noises and screeching. I'm not too into that.

I just caught a glimpse of
"E!'s 101 Reasons the 90's Ruled". Like most countdown shows, they did not disappoint in sucking. They were able to get me to realize they have a bunch of morons working for them from the moment I turned the show on. #56 or something... the 90's ruled because of Hanson and Mmmmbop. Yeah man, that's right. Because when I think of the 90's and how good they were, I think of Hanson. Sometimes I just can't get that beautifully crafted masterpiece Mmmmbop out of my head... AND I LOVE IT. Naw man... now if I was going to make "101 Reasons the 90's

I just watched an old episode of the Weakest Link on the Game Show Network. I always hated that show. That stupid arrogant British piece of crap. I just wanted to kick her in the jaw. But this episode I watched was great. It was a bunch of rappers playing for charity. Let's see... who was playing? Da Brat, Xzibit, Jermaine Dupri, Rev. Run, B-Real, DJ Quik, Young MC and even Nate Dogg. It was hilarious. Some of them were just retarded... like B-Real was voted off because of this gem... "What is 3x4? I don't know, 7?". Then when the host asked Nate Dogg why he voted off B-Real, he just sang out, "Insane in the brain". Funny stuff like that... I guess you had to watch it. But even though there were a lot of stupid answers, they were all able to laugh at themselves. And even when there weren't stupid answers, they were able to laugh at themselves. That dumb host obviously doesn't understand hip-hop culture, so she was taking shots at all of them, and they were all just playing along. It was just funny. I was cracking up.

I just watched the movie
Undisputed with Wesley Snipes and Ving Rhames. It came out in 2002 but I vaguely remember it. I think I wanted to see it, that's the only reason I semi remember it. I doubt it did too good at the box office. It really wasn't that great of a movie. It was so predictable, and the plot was really slow, boring, and just plain stupid and over the top sometimes. The fight scenes were pretty decent though, and for some reason, I'm a sucker for boxing movies. I'm just glad I used my $6.50 for beer instead of going to see this movie. It was just as good on Encore as it woulda been in the theater.

Well Saint Joes will be sitting at #1 this week since
Stanford blew it. It was about time. They had more come back, shoulda lost games, then they deserved. It doesn't matter. I don't think either of them will make it past the second round, but I do think Saint Joes is the better team. Well we'll all see how things play out. The tourney is always crazy, and miracles can happen.

I saw
Starsky & Hutch tonight. It was pretty good. It had some funny moments... some hilarious moments... and Stiller and Wilson had some good chemistry. Oh, and of course Huggybear was the shizzle.
I can't believe you just said that. Shut up.
No, really... I can't. Oh shut up.
Seriously dude, that was bad. I can't believe you don't shut up. Anyway, the movie was good. The broads were hot. Yeah, it was the 70s. They were broads. And with a cast like that, it's gotta be pretty funny. It did have its cheezy moments, like in the end when the original Starsky & Hutch actors had their cameos. The original actor cameos are normally good, but not when it's the original Starsky & Hutch guys. Sorry. No one cares fellas... go live your lives. But all in all, it'll be a decent movie to own on ::cough cough:: divx.

Sitting around doing nothing here is not nearly as fun as sitting around doing nothing at school. I didn't need to get away, I just needed to do nothing I guess. Stupidest thing I've ever done? Go to Chilis on a Wednesday night when I have to get 15 pages of a 30 page paper done by tomorrow night.
Good job Brett. Hey, leave me alone. I just took a test. You can't expect me to go right into writing a paper.
Sure I can. No you can't. Go away.

What kind of bastard makes you sit through a 1/2 hour presentation before taking a quiz that's worth 15% of your grade. He knows we're going to fail. I think he seriously enjoys this like it's a game or something.

I don't know if this
video against Bush is the most intelligent way to handle things, but it sure is to the point and funny. And it speaks the truth. Vote democrat. Why would you vote any other way?

Holy crap. I just checked my mail. My exam grade was mailed to me at 3:10PM which is less than an hour and a half after I left the room. That has to be a world record or something. Anyway, like I thought, I didn't do as well as the last test. I feel stupid not beating everyone in the class like I did last time, but I guess you can't win em all. I got an 86 though, which I think he's curving to an A-. I'll take it. So now, even if I fail my test tomorrow, at least I did good on my test today. Not a good way of looking at things, but who cares.

Did I mention that Beat The Geeks was on last night 2:00AM? Of course I had to watch it instead of studying. I forgot that show ever existed when Comedy Central took it off the air almost 2 years ago. I used to love that show. I watched it all the time. Makes me wish it was back on. Stupid Comedy Central. It was probably gearing up to replace all of its shows with MAD TV or something. Morons.

BTW, my new Band of the day feature isn't exactly going to be every day. It's just gonna be on days where I feel like there should be a band of the day. Days when I have a certain tune stuck in my head or whatnot. For example, today I had the piano part to Layla stuck in my head. Hence the Band of the day is Derek & The Dominos.

Band of the day -
Derek & The Dominos
I can't believe Aerosmith is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and D&tD is not. It's outrageous. I hate people.
Anyway, they were a short lived band made up of various musicians and fronted by Eric Clapton.
They wrote what could be the greatest song ever in Layla.
The great slide guitarist Duane Allman sat in on guitar for the Layla & Other Assorted Love Songs album.

Test #1 down. I don't think it went so good. I guessed on 14 out of 50. That's a little high on my guess ratio. I figure I'd normally guess 12 out of 50. Well let's just hope my patented multiple choice guessing technique works this time as well as it did last. I didn't think I did too hot on the first test, but I ended up nailing it. I don't think I'm gonna do as well this time though. Anyway, he had the last test back the next morning, so maybe I'll know by tomorrow sometime. Which may or may not be good going into my 2nd test and a night of paper writing fun.
