I have a solution for those of you that are so heartbroken over class not being cancelled because of the snow. Simply don’t go. I know not everyone has all their classes where they take attendance. Your mother isn’t forcing you to go to school. I guess as long as you don’t miss very many days throughout the semester, just don’t go. Stay home, talk on AIM all day, watch TV, build a big fort made out of chairs, pillows, and blankets. All that fun stuff.

Just a few thoughts after sitting in my COMM 484 class.

1. What the hell is with the people bringing food into class? I mean, if you’re hungry, bring a snack; not a 2-3 course meal. If you don’t have time to eat before or after class, and you just can’t live without eating, consider dropping the class or something. I don’t need people chomping and smelling up the room like it’s the HUB when I’m trying to learn. It’s just fn ignorant. I make sure I set time to eat lunch in my schedule, and if I don’t, I figure something out. Try doing the same.
2. And what’s with this?:
   “I don’t mean to butt in, but…” Well then why the hell were you listening to my conversation, and then why did you in fact butt in?
3. And what’s with people in a lecture who think that the teacher is only talking to them, so everytime he says something, they have to say something back.

I’m currently watching: Meet Joe Dirt

Well since Vh1 doesn’t play music anymore, they can at least put on some cool shows. Like tomorrow. They have their whole bands reunited thing going on, and tomorrow is Extreme. That’s going to be pretty cool to watch. I think I just might try and catch it.

After class, because yes, we will have it. Grow up people.

Lewis Black once said that the end of the universe was located in Houston, Texas in between two Starbucks that are located right across the street from one another, in the same building. Well my friends, if that is in fact the end of the universe, I have found one of the last stops on the way to the end of the universe; And that stop is Vh1. When I change the station from MTV, which is almost certainly not playing music, to Vh1 hoping to catch some sort of something respectable, and playing before my eyes is some show with Nelly picking the winner of some large ass, “Miss Applebottom” contest… that my friends is when I know I’m not far from the end of the universe.

Oh, and here it is. The One Year Anniversary redesign. Happy Birthday!!! I went with the highly simplistic design. 1 year old. That’s a lot. Unless you’re 2 years. Then you got me beat. Anyway, I’m happy with making it this far. And I know it isn’t quite 1 year yet… 1 more week to go… but think of it as “this week is the blog’s birthday”. It requested from me a whole week of celebration. I gave it a redesign; you give it a celebration.

Ok. I opted for the “This is all about my blog, thus I don’t need those other things.” approach to this design. When I first built the page, it needed other things, because I didn’t feel the blog itself was enough. But a year later, I think the blog alone is strong enough to make the page. And because you people didn’t tell me anything, I did what I wanted. If you want anything added, tell me, and I’d most likely add it, or bring it back… whatever the case may be.
