Good Movie.
I may not be a good movie reviewer, but I know what I like. I was thoroughly impressed with what I witnessed tonight. This is turning out to be a summer of good movies. Johnny Depp was really good as Captain Jack Sparrow; once again he didn’t let me down. And I think I have fallen in love with Keira Knightley. She was only 17 when this film began shooting, but she’s legal now and that’s good enough for me. She reminds me of Natalie Portman and that is a good thing. Orlando Bloom was also very cool. His swordfight with Depp was pretty sweet, albeit it was a little short. Bruckheimer pulled off the choreography in a very interesting way which kept it different and also humorous. I just liked it, but I’ve said that already. Now it’s time for the League. I hope Mr. Connery doesn’t let me down like Depp didn’t.
