And it feels as if Thanksgiving Break never happened.

What I’m listening to right now: The Grateful Dead – Workingman’s Dead – Casey Jones

So I’m back now. I wrote about some stuff over the week, but now I can fill in the other holes.
On Wednesday I saw Brother Bear. I liked it. It was an interesting movie albeit a little short. It was only 120 minutes so it seemed to fly by. However the music was really good and the story was funny and entertaining. The ending was a tad predictable, but like every Disney movie there was some good adult humor. I even like all the toys that are coming out dealing with the movie. That’s because bears are cool.

On Friday, I saw Elf. That was also quite funny. I was cracking up pretty good throughout most of the movie. Especially when he gets hit by the Taxi. Man, people getting hit by cars never seems to get old. I just wish that chick showed more skin because she was kinda cute and I think it would have definitely boosted her career a bit more than simply being in a Christmas comedy. This was a good Christmas movie though. Something you can actually watch year after year as opposed to those other stupid Christmas movies. I’ll be looking forward to it.

A lot more happened this week, but I can’t think of it. That sucks. A whole week of my life and I’ll never get it back.

I’m currently watching: The Simpsons

So what did I think about Revolutions? Well… I liked it. I may be one of the few, but I did. Sure, it could have been better, but I don’t know how. I think everyone was just expecting too much. And I don’t mean that in a bad way in that Revolutions was bad. I mean that like when the original Matrix came out, it was so original and mind blowing that nothing could really compare to it. And they couldn’t just come up with a completely new mind blowing experience for each movie. You just gotta think of it as one long movie with no breaks. If the original Matrix was this big 6 hour epic what would you think then. You’d probably think the same way about the original Matrix. That it was a damn good movie with an amazing original concept.

Anyway, this movie made you think a lot more than the last movie, and I like that. I always enjoy the car rides home that I’m thinking about stuff. But it didn’t make me think too much that I’m confused and need another movie to clear it up. So that’s good. I enjoyed it. I want to see it again. Some things could have been different, but like the Merovingian said, “We are all victims of causality. I drink too much wine, I must take a piss. Cause and effect.” That doesn’t make any sense, I just like that line. I also really like the Merovingian a lot now.

Oh, but back to the topic at hand. The ending could have been a little better. The whole fight between Neo and Smith was a little weak. But the whole last 4 minutes with the Oracle and the Architect and the last exile was interesting. And I do see it fitting that everything else worked out the way it did, and it couldn’t have happened any other way. It seems so clear to me now, I just feel a little retarded for not picking up on it sooner. I’m tired of writing about this movie. I’m done.

What I’m listening to right now: Silence

2 picks, 1 TD, 2 miraculous receptions. And that’s why Brett is a playmaker and should be signed with any team who is willing to sign me. Please.

I’m currently watching: Green Bay vs. Detroit

I just heard the greatest thing. It was that big creepy mailman guy from Just Shoot Me, and he was on Tough Crowd. And they were talking about music and violence and why we shouldn’t blame music for violence. And he says that violent music doesn’t cause violence… bad music causes violence. Like Nickelback. Their music makes me want to be violent towards Nickelback. And I’ll just end it with that.

What I’m listening to right now: Silence

I seem to be in the midst of a punk revolution. Not new punk, but the stuff I used to listen to. Don’t ask me why. Maybe I miss it, maybe I’m tired of all the other music I have, or maybe I’m just having a quarter life crisis. Anyway, I never stopped liking this music; I just stopped listening to it for some reason unbeknownst to me.

What I’m listening to right now: Youth Brigade – We’re In/Blink 182 – Adam’s Song

I’m going home tomorrow. Maybe I’ll post from there. Maybe I won’t.

I’m currently watching: Sports Night

As taken from Christian’s profile:

“Gut Wrenching Pong:
Brett 12 Tim 7 Christian 11

For the Crown: Brett Up 11-10, Christian hits 3 cups to bring it to overtime, after another overtime he wins to tie it up at 11. Second game Christian hits last cup, Brett hits to bring it to overtime, Brett hits, Christian, Tim hits, Brett hits, Brett wins the Crown. My nerves are shot for days. “

I don’t know how completely accurate this is because none of us really remember every shot. However, it’s close enough to reality.

I’m currently watching: Family Guy

I think it’s time the Simpsons give it up. Every time I watch a Family Guy episode, then watch a new Simpsons episode, I just get angry that Family Guy was only on for 3 seasons, and the Simpsons haven’t been funny for about 3 seasons. Instead of an anti-TV Land petition, we need to make a “Bring Back the Family Guy” petition. I mean today’s Simpsons was just that bad.

I’m currently watching: Miami Dolphins vs. Washington Redskins

I just watched Saved By The Bell: Hawaiian Style. 9 out of 10 critics give it 2 thumbs up.

Welcome to the Hawaiian Hideaway,
your cares will slide away,
beneath the sunshine in the morning and the moon at night.

Catchy tune.
Oh, and I didn’t say which 10.
