I don’t think I even want home field advantage. This team can’t win at home. We’re better off on the road the rest of the year. I mean what did home field advantage do for us last year? Nothing. We may as well take our great road record, and win the Superbowl that way. I was concerned with what San Fran team was going to show up this week, but it was the Eagles team that didn’t show up. That game should have been put away long before the end. The defense better start figuring out what it’s gonna do, because with more performances like that, against better offenses, we won’t make it to the Superbowl.

Alright, so Brian’s not gonna be back next semester. I just found that news out a little while ago. No more waking up at 8:30 in a sweltering heat not being able to breath. No more waking up to interesting polygamous stories. However, now we’re gonna be car-less; not that we really had that anyway. But who knows what’s gonna happen next. Who’s gonna take his place? Will we have the room open? That’d be interesting. We’d actually have the keg room. They’d probably lock the door, but I’m pretty sure Tim’s key can open both doors. Damn him. The master key and free premium cable stations.
And the pumpkin seeds are still in the garbage disposal.

That last post was only 2 minutes ago. Damn. Now I’m wasting precious Kbps of memory with posts that I could have looked up in under 2 minutes. Someone should watch me.
Or re-ban Molson XXX.
Damn, this is like sending random IMs. Except in this case, I was able to log in to Blogger, and write a bit of HTML.

Oh, I just looked it up. It’s his “great-great-great-etc. nephew, Professor Farnsworth”. That makes a lot more sense. Stupid drunk me.
Wait, I’m not drunk.
Slightly intoxicated me!

Look, tomorrow after I haven’t drank 7.4% abv, this may make sense, but how did Fry have a super great grandson in the Professor, if he was locked in the cryogenic chamber for 1000 years? He was a big loser, but did he have sex? I know he had a girlfriend, but like I said, it may make more sense tomorrow if someone explains it to me, and I haven’t been drinking Molson XXX.

After just listening to the Brother Bear soundtrack,
- I really like that movie, and
- It could be the best Disney soundtrack period.
Sure, we’ll all remember the Lion King because of it’s catchiness and fun factor, but Phil Collins put together a soundtrack for this movie with music that’s outstanding. The music is just that outstanding. The songs are so good I don’t need to watch the movie, the music tells the story all by itself. Man it’s good.
Do you like Phil Collins? I’ve been a big Genesis fan ever since the release of their 1980 album, Duke. Before that, I really didn’t understand any of their work. Too artsy, too intellectual. It was on Duke where, uh, Phil Collins’ presence became more apparent. I think Invisible Touch was the group’s undisputed masterpiece. It’s an epic meditation on intangibility. At the same time, it deepens and enriches the meaning of the preceding three albums. Christy, take off your robe. Listen to the brilliant ensemble playing of Banks, Collins and Rutherford. You can practically hear every nuance of every instrument. Sabrina, remove your dress. In terms of lyrical craftsmanship, the sheer songwriting, this album hits a new peak of professionalism. Sabrina, why don’t you, uh, dance a little. Take the lyrics to Land of Confusion. In this song, Phil Collins addresses the problems of abusive political authority. In Too Deep is the most moving pop song of the 1980s, about monogamy and commitment. The song is extremely uplifting. Their lyrics are as positive and affirmative as, uh, anything I’ve heard in rock. Christy, get down on your knees so Sabrina can see your ass. Phil Collins’ solo career seems to be more commercial and therefore more satisfying, in a narrower way. Especially songs like In the Air Tonight and, uh, Against All Odds. Sabrina, don’t just stare at it, eat it. But I also think Phil Collins works best within the confines of the group, than as a solo artist, and I stress the word artist. This is Sussudio, a great, great song, a personal favorite.

And I have tickets for the Return of the King for 9:30 on Saturday. Sweet! Sure, I wish I could be seeing it in an hour when the first shows start, but we’ve already been over how crappy things can be. Instead I’ll look at it as the glass is half full, and I’ll be at the theater at 7:00 to wait in line for 2 hours for the event of the year. EVENT OF THE YEAR!!!
