Band of the day – The Eagles
Keeping it going with another bird band with major staying power, there’s just something about this country/rock band that makes it so that you can’t not like them. Their first greatest hits album was the first ever platinum record, it still is the #1 selling record of album of all time, and something must be good about them when you gotta pay upwards of $262.00 a piece to see them. During the times they weren’t together, Joe Walsh, Glen Frey and Don Henley all had successfull solo careers, but together their music is simply outstanding.

And Led Zeppelin.
What else needs to come out of a single band? Honestly. They had an illustrious history that started off with the blues and then switched to pop, yet nothing ever sounded bad. And then they didn’t put out an album for 30 years, but even without 3 of the greatest guitar players of all time, Birdland, which came out last year, is better than anything currently. That’s stay power.

I just got back from Checkers… errr Roxy’s and I went to town. I got the first chicken cosmo I’ve had in a year which is coincidentally the last one I’ll ever have, and I also had a mushroom swiss burger. Ahhh the good old times. I can finally check something off my list of things I had to do.
Now it’s time to study for my tests tomorrow. I need an 80 to get an A in the class which seems reasonable. However I just calculated what I would get if I didn’t really study too hard. If I get a 40 in the test, I get a B in the class. The A to B drop only drops my cumulative down 0.01 points. What to do… what to do.

Band of the day – Boston
Boston is one of the best bands to come out of the corporate rock era of music. They sold millions of albums for a corporate rock group, had the largest debut album ever at the time of its debut and are still played quite frequently on classic rock stations. Their music composition was excellent due to the perfectionist tendencies of the founding member and guitar player Tom. Even after all this however, most people probably couldn’t name more than 2 Boston songs. If you can’t, I recommend you learn some.

And I’m done with the last stupid worthless presentation I’ll ever have to do. 3 finals left and couple minor things and it’s done.

So my brithday was a month ago.
::note to self::
When you get cookies and brownies for your birthday, don’t wait a month to finish them. Eat them as soon as possible.
How can something that was so good become so bad?

So this is what my last week of college looks like:

Wait, that’s not it… that’s just one for good measure. This is it:

Man, I just wrote a one page, double spaced paper for my W class. What a freakin ridiculous assignment for a writing class. Anyway… to my point… it took less than 10 minutes to write this. What happened to high school when a one page paper of about 300 words took what seemed like forever to write. It’s even more ridiculous when you think about it like that.
