I’m currently watching: WWE Monday Night Raw

I bought the first part of my new computer today. This 120GB Maxtor HD. Except I got it at the actual Fry’s store and they had it on sale for $60. I couldn’t pass it up. .50 cents per GB is just amazing. Amazing. I was about to spend $60 for an 80GB HD. Well now I just gotta buy all the other parts. Fun.

I’m currently watching: I Love the 80’s : 1987

Watch out… I Love the 90’s is coming. I think it’s a little bit too soon, but we’re actually almost halfway done the 00’s. But they got a while to wait before I Love the 00’s. I assume we’ll get an I Love the 70’s: Strikes Back, an I Love the 80’s: Strikes Back Again and then an I Love the 90’s: Strikes Back, before eventually getting I Love the 70’s: Strikes Back Again, I Love the 80’s: Picking Up the Scraps, I Love the 90’s: Holy Crap, How’d We Miss This Stuff, and then finally I Love the 00’s. Gee, I can’t wait. I hardly remember what happened last year.

Lots and lots of stuff. Start with Monday the 17th. I got my laptop. I like it. Let’s jump to Wednesday the 19th.

Shortly after my last post, and when I say shortly, I mean I clicked publish post and the phone rang, my mother called me with bad news. My grandmother had a stroke and she was really bad. So immediately we booked a flight, and I flew to Vegas. I’ve been here ever since and spent practically every moment in the hospital. The good news is she’s doing much better now. Still struggling with motor skills, but she’s getting back mentally. I should be leaving for Philadelphia in a few days, hopefully by Wednesday. I just wanted to make sure she was ok first.

And I coulda started working this week at Station’s. A spot opened which I had previously been waiting for, however I found out Saturday night that I’ll have a spot at the new Planet Hollywood casino which is taking over the Aladdin. That’ll be starting around September. I like the sound of Planet Hollywood, so I’m gonna wait the 3 months. If I took the Station job now, I couldn’t get to Planet Hollywood for almost a year. I think this is a better choice. Plus, I don’t quite think it’s in the cards to move out to Vegas so quickly. Sure I’ll miss out on over $8,000 which is a lot of money, but I have 50 years to work. I think I can wait 3 more months.

This is great. All week I’ve been having these bad dreams… These awful revelations that I really am done with college. Each day it’s something else; Thinking about a different person, a different time, a different place. People and places that are all but gone now… History. And it just kinda knocks the wind out of you.

Good day for Philly sports. Phillies are winning 16-5 in the 8th, and the Flyers won 3-2 to tie the series at 2 games to 2 in the Eastern Conference Finals.

Oh, and I just graduated.
