Spiderman 2 Awesome!

There may be spoilers in here so beware.

Spiderman 2 was AWESOME! I liked the first, but I was never it’s biggest fan, however this movie just blew me away. It’s kinda the same way the X-men saga is for me. I think it’s the fact that I don’t like all the introduction stuff that the part 1’s bring. I like to just get deep into the story lines. But the 2nd parts never disappoint. I felt like I was at the edge of my seat the whole time. This story was really good and it was just an exciting movie. Even the slow parts weren’t all that slow and they were normally diluted with some kind of humor. Now as always I’ll just have to wait for the 3rd part. I guess we’ll get X-men 3 in about 2 summers and then Spiderman 3 a year later. I can’t wait. At least The Fantastic Four should be coming out sometime in 2005 to hold us over. Now that’s gonna be really cool. Anyway, I’m really hoping for Venom in Spiderman 3, but with the way this one ended we might just get Harry as the Green Goblin. If it is the Green Goblin again, they’re gonna have to figure out a way to make Harry’s Green Goblin different than his father’s Green Goblin. Or maybe just a Green Goblin AND Venom movie which may make more sense since I highly doubt people will want to see the Green Goblin again by himself. I think I may recall a story line with the Green Goblin and the Lizard together and that would be cool too. But introducing the Lizard would probably take too much time so that’s probably out of the question. But then again, they haven’t been following the exact story lines anyway because its just not feasible. Anyway, there’s a million things that could happen and since I don’t remember the comic books exactly issue by issue, I will just have to wait. Hell, they could probably put anything on the screen and since I love Spiderman so much, I would love the movie. It’s a win/win. Oh well, time to write some rhymes.

Head of State Stinks

I’m watching Head of State with Chris Rock, and I’m so glad that I never paid to see this movie while it was in the theaters. I don’t know why I’m watching this and not Skinamax. This movie is truly bad.

Donnie Darko

I watched Donnie Darko tonight and I think… I think… I liked it. I’m still not really sure cause I’m still a bit confused about everything. It reminded me of an episode of X-Files where there just is no clear cut ending. But I never liked the X-Files for that reason. I liked this movie though. It had me cracking up at some parts, confused during most parts and that freakin rabbit is scary as hell til you better understand him. I don’t know. If you wanna be confused after seeing a movie to the point where you just think about it for a good while after you see it, I would suggest watching Donnie Darko. I don’t know if I’ll ever watch it again, I probably will because I’d like to watch it with commentary on, but I probably shouldn’t. Or maybe I should. Hell this movie makes me confused as to if I should even watch it again. Damn.

Huggybear’s New Project

The wheels on my upcoming project with a new undisclosed counterpart have begun spinning a lot faster tonight. Talks have begun and it looks as if this might end up becoming something. It’s gonna be interesting though with only a few weeks at our expense to put it together, but then remember it’s only gonna be an EP. Stay tuned for more info.

Nip Tuck

The Nip/Tuck season premier was tonight and I completely forgot. Yeah, forgot how awesome the show is. Man, I hate watching the show so much, but I just can’t stop watching it. Every time they do a surgery, it’s disgusting… every time Sean or Christian gets in trouble, I can’t stand it. I don’t know why I even watch the show if Kimber isn’t in the episode. I guess it’s cause as much money as they got or as many chicks Christian has been with, I still wouldn’t want to be either one of them in their crazy ass world. But tonight’s episode was just like it normal, so you know I’ll be there faithfully every Tuesday night at 10. Sweeeeet!

New Beats

If you look to the side, you may notice that I’ve been listening to some beats once again. Ahhh remember the good old days when I listened to countless beats and it flooded my Recently Played list? Hmm, I wonder what that might mean…

The Terminal

I saw The Terminal tonight and really enjoyed it. It was really clever and certainly different. Tom Hanks was able to show me why he used to be my favorite actor. I don’t know if anyone else could have pulled that role off except for him. All the actors were pretty good and the movie, even with its serious side, had me laughing the whole time… and thinking… and feeling… and laughing. Good flick. Best of the Summer so far. And more movies should have Catherine Zeta Jones in them. She’s just gorgeous. And not a bad actress. Maybe she sucks you in with her beauty, I’m not sure, but I usually like her in whatever role she plays. And Tom Hanks… well he’s just Tom Hanks.

No New Computer

I think I’ve put building my new computer on hold for a little bit. I’m not really sure that it’s a necessity at this point in time, and with so many bills coming up within the next few months, I think I should just put off spending an extra $1,000 until I have some sort of income and know where my money is going. I mean I have my laptop now and that should keep me going for a few months. Now I’ll be able to put this money to better use like maybe paying back my loans or buying a car… 2 things that I have to do come September. Then once I know how much money I actually do have, I’ll be able to buy the computer. And then I’ll either be able to buy what I was going to buy now, for cheaper, or I’ll be able to buy better stuff for probably the same price. Hey, now I’m rich cause that money in my bank account looks like it’s gonna be there for a while.

Kill Bill stunk, stupid!

I finally watched Kill Bill tonight and I thought it stunk, stupid! Talk about a boring movie. I was ready to turn it off all the way until the last like 30 minutes when the fighting really started. And even then, the fights weren’t that great. I mean if you liked blood squirting everywhere, then yeah, that fight was spectacular. But I don’t care too much for blood spewing everywhere, I’d rather have better Matrix type choreographed fights. I mean you could barely see the strokes of the blade cutting people… all you saw were flying limbs and blood. The only part I actually liked in the whole movie was when Uma Thurman’s character fought that Gogo girl… I thought that was really cool. It actually got me up and almost out of my seat. But then what was with all the frickin Japanese. If I wanted to read something, I’d read “The Once and Future King”, not subtitles translating Japanese. I don’t think the authentic Japanese speech was necessary if not for any reason but to make Tarantino feel like he is a really trendy and cool director. Well guess what pal, we’re in America… speak English. I just don’t understand why everyone loved this movie. It’s like Quentin Tarantino can take a shit on film and everyone would love it. I was definitely not impressed, and I highly doubt I’ll waste my time seeing Vol. 2. Look, you can take a good look at a T-bone by sticking your head up a bull’s ass, but wouldn’t you rather take the butcher’s word for it? Well take my word for it, this movie stunk, and I don’t say that very often.
