Damned Rain
Author: TerententenJun 14
Alright, so it was a crazy night. The ballpark is gorgeous and it still hasn’t phased me that it is our new home. Even as I walked around and saw the sights, it still didn’t click that the Vet was gone. Only when I see pictures or videos of the Vet do I really miss it. Other than that, out of sight, out of mind. Now to the game. I got home at 2:10ish. At about 2:05 the game was finally called due to rain. It was the 3rd rain delay and it only lasted about as long as it took us to get to the car and drive home, so probably about 30 minutes. The 2nd rain delay was probably about an hour, and the 1st rain delay was probably closer to 2 hours. Unbelievable. I couldn’t believe that they weren’t calling the game. Especially during the 2nd delay which was the longest 7th inning stretch probably in the history of ever. I mean there were probably close to 4 hours of rain delays and they still didn’t even finish the game. Wagner never got to get a save. He threw like 3 warmup pitches before the top of the 9th and then the rain just started coming down again. Oh well, I’ll get to see them again on Thursday when I’m in my Mayor’s Box seats. That’s gonna be the coolest. As for the actual gameplay, Thome hit his 400th homerun at his first at bat. It was a shot to straightaway centerfield so I got nothing. That is because Ken Griffey Jr. once again did not play when I went to see him. This is like the billionth time he didn’t play at a game I went to see him at. I got the worst luck I guess. I heard a few different stories about why he didn’t play from Griffey not wanting to show up Thome’s big night, to the more believable they wanted Griffey to hit his 500th at home in Cincy. Whatever. I’ll forgive him. I guess I’ll just never get to see him play. All I know is this should probably be a memorable night as it was my first night in Citizen’s Bank Park, Thome hit his 400th homerun and I was at the park from 5:00PM – 1:30AM… a hell of a long time.

Phillies Tix
Author: TerententenJun 14
I just purchased 2 tickets for tonight’s Phillies game against the Reds. It was tough work purchasing tickets on the internet. It seems that even though you click best available seats, they think best available means upper deck last seat. So you have to keep clicking best available until the best available seat does in fact appear. And even then, that’s strictly a personal opinion. So I clicked and I clicked and seats would magically appear. I finally got to the $40 seats behind the plate, but they were like 30 rows back. Seems like a good idea to just purchase them. They would be covered since it’s supposed to rain tonight, and they would also be behind the plate which is a good spot. But in tonight’s game’s case, after a lot of clicking, the $20 right field seats popped up. You see, tonight is the night that Jim Thome is going to hit his 400th home run and it is also the night that Ken Griffey Jr. is going to hit his 500th home run. And my father and I are going to be right there to knock the little kids over and catch the balls. So tonight I will be sitting in section 104, row 14… a perfect spot to catch every pulled shot that is hit. The odds are always against you in catching any ball hit at a game, but hopefully I’ll return with some good news tonight. And if not… I’ll be extremely upset and I will smote all that oppose me and destroy every living creature that has more than 1 leg, and the world that is left will fear me because of the carnage that I have already caused. That’s right. So remember that bitches if you ever wanna die, come around and fuck with me and my boys where bullets fly.

That Audioblog better be free. And cantaloupe at 1AM is pretty good. Maybe the best time I’ve ever eaten cantaloupe.

Hot Chicks
Author: TerententenJun 10
It’s been a real long time since I put up any pictures of hot chicks, so here goes. My only problem is I’m having trouble figuring out who’s hotter. Now I know Catherine Bell has had children, but I’m not talking about that. And I know Elisha only really looks extremely hot when she’s totally blonde, but I’m not talking about that either. I’m talking about the pictures. On one had we have this hot older brunette and on the other hand we got this young hot blonde. They’re like polar opposites. Elisha Cuthbert looks like Faith Hill a lot and that’s a plus. She can be like a younger Faith Hill. Hopefully she’d age like Faith. But Catherine Bell just looks like one hell of a woman. Here’s a few pictures that you might not have seen of either of them. Well most of you probably haven’t seen many pictures of either of them unless you look at my wallpapers that are constantly changing, but if you’re like me, you’ve probably seen them all. Errrr what I meant to say is here’s a picture of each of them for all our enjoyment.

Just by hovering over either of them with your mouse, you begin tremble. Doesn’t it seem like it? The page even seems to tremble a bit. I’m not even gonna get into the intricacies of each picture, and why I like them so much, but that Elisha picture is one of the best ones I’ve ever seen from her. That’s why I posted that one as opposed to one where she’s in a bikini or something almost nude. It’s just good to have a little meat on your bones I think. My God… your God… whoever’s God. Isn’t there a way to have both. Errr what I meant to say is isn’t there a way to just have both?

MCSE Ughh!
Author: TerententenJun 9
So I started working on my MCSE this week, and even though it’s early, this thing is gonna be difficult. I thought it was going to be semi easy since it is something that I want to do, and I’m not actually being pressed to learn it, but in a way I am being pressed to do it. If I would have just done this for the hell of it, it would have been… well just for the hell of it. But now Jerry bought me the first set of books, and then I go and tell him that I hope to get a lot of it done by September. I just kinda dug myself in a hole cause now I look bad if it’s not done by September. No matter what, I’ll still have the job at Planet Hollywood, but it just won’t be as sweet. But then on top of it, the MCSE book says that you should have 18 months on the job experience prior to getting your MCSE. I have about 1 month of field experience that didn’t quite deal with MCSE stuff, and even that was a year ago. Let’s just hope I can keep up some sort of pace to take a test every couple of weeks so I’m somewhat close to being done by September.

Shrek 2
Author: TerententenJun 9
I saw Shrek 2 tonight. It was alright. Didn’t blow me away like I hoped. That’s probably what its problem was… I was expecting too much. It didn’t get any huge laughs out of me, although I did chuckle quite a bit. To me it seemed like it was a little over the top. I don’t know. The story was alright. I feel like I just gotta see it again. I didn’t like Shrek after only seeing it once, but after the 2nd time, I really liked it. Something tells me that’s how this one is going to be. I just thought of another reason I might not have liked it. I really really really disliked the Fairy Godmother. I know she was supposed to be the villain and I wasn’t supposed to like her, but for some reason, I really despised her moreso than a lot of other antagonists. Maybe I just like Shrek a lot and that whore deserved to die. Yeah, that’s probably it.

Troy
Author: TerententenJun 6
I finally got around to seeing Troy tonight. Despite what I heard about it, I really enjoyed it. I liked the story a lot. I guess I should look into reading some more books. Anyway, I don’t know what everyone’s quarrels were with the movie, but it was very entertaining. It didn’t feel like 2 hours and 45 minutes at all. My only problem was with the lack of female nudity. I believe if I had to see Brad Pitt’s ass on 3 different occasions, I should have seen about 10 pairs of titties at least. That’s just my opinion. I mean a lot of movies have at least 1 pair of tits without ever having to see any male nudity. The fact that I had to see that should more than triple the female nudity. And the fact that it took place during the time period that it did meant that it should have had more than enough orgy scenes to pull its weight at the AVNs. Well that’s what I think anyway. But I liked the movie. I enjoyed rooting for both the good guy and the bad guy who wasn’t quite the real bad guy. I’m glad I went to see it.
