Now that you finally got your latest installment of What did Brett wear to work?, I’m gonna shake it up a bit for the next week, October 25-29. I already got stuff coming for this week obviously, but I’m gonna let YOU select what I wear for next week. That’s right, you the fans can select my outfits. But wait, there’s more. You also can select the pose. That’s right, I said it… you can even select the pose. So get thinking, you only have about 4 days to send in your comments. The top 5 outfits will be chosen at random from what I like, and the top pose will also be selected… maybe. So make this good, and it could happen again. Make it bad and YOU’LL NEVER SEE WHAT I WEAR TO WORK AGAIN! Oh, and vote Kerry in ’04.

Outbreak. Not the flu.

So gas prices are just about at 2.30/g now and I heard yesterday by a couple of sources that they will be climing up to about 3.00/g within the next few months. There’s already a place in California that’s at 2.99/g. It’s just sick. Sicker than the flu. Sicker than the movie Outbreak in which thousands of people got sick and died. And I remember a place and a time in Ohio where you could get .99/g. Goddamn middle eastern oil mogul shiek guys who parade around in their fancy palaces with their hundreds of wives… …. ….. Hmm maybe it’s time for a career change. Brett the Shiek. Catchy.

Outbreak. Not the movie.

I finally found a reason why I might not want to be at Penn State anymore. Yeah, I wouldn’t be looking forward to this flu outbreak that you just know is gonna happen across campus.

Comfort in my grave.

I worked day shift today as I’ll be doing all this week. Just this week. Thankfully. Because I do not really like day shift. After two weeks of grave… well I prefer grave. I do not find myself tired all day working grave. I do not have to put up with people who like to do things their own way during grave. During grave, you do it all your way. And in the end, it’s just a more peaceful work environment. Ideally I think I would like to go to swing which is 3-11, but I don’t think I’d switch to day even if I had the choice right now. Waking up early just stinks.

Oh, and for a little fantasy update. Why the f*@k does Ahman Green only have 3 yards after the first half. Oh yeah… I forgot that I picked him up this week. That explains it.

Weekly fantasy rant?

This week I decided to forget looking at matchups and look at people who I thought were due. This led me to choose Marvin Harrison and Michael Vick. Neither of them thus far have done anything special to make them the top 5 picks fantasy players they normally play as. I think to myself it should even out eventually right? Apparently not. I wonder what I’ll try next week. I don’t want to have all the same players as everyone else, matchups apparently don’t work and then people apparently aren’t due when I decide they are. Even the Seahawks ended up blowing a 17 point lead with 5 minutes left in the 4th quarter. Talk about a team that definitely isn’t as good as everyone thought they were. The Rams stink… you can let them back in it a bit, but not give up that much. You can’t come off a bye and lose to a team that stinks at home. Once again though it makes me wonder why teams just don’t run 2 minute drills the entire game. I think a team that would try that would never lose. And even if it didn’t work, I’d like to see it anyway. Arizona should try it. They’d be a good candidate who might benefit from a change of pace. Anyway, stay tuned for more fun and experimentation with fantasy football. Eventually I myself will be due I would hope. If not, I’ll fall back to chosing players that are going up against the Eagles. At that point, logic would say the Eagles would be mighty appreciative.

Sims 2

I bought the Sims 2 tonight. However tomorrow there’s gonna be a special at Best Buy on the Sims 2 which’ll save you $10 on a DVD. So tomorrow I’m gonna go back and I think I’ll pick me up a DVD for $10 less. Sounds like a good deal to me. So everyone go out there and pick up your Sims 2, you won’t be disappointed. Everybody loves the Sims. And everybody loves stranding people they hate in quickly created islands so that they piss on themselves and starve to death in your own backyard. FUN!

Just say noThat Burger King guy from the new commercials is scary as shit. If I ever “Woke up with the King” and he was next to me in bed, I don’t care if he had something from Burger King or a friggin sandwhich from John’s, I’d punch him in his face. Man, if I ever saw him walking down the street, I’d probably just run away with some hypothetical tail between my legs or something. Oh no, it’s on again… Go away Burger King… go away.

Grrrrr

I just spent over $18 to fill the Kia up with gas. $18 for a friggin Kia. I can’t stress that enough. I’m very unhappy right now.
