I didn’t mention it until now but I finally got my Wii on Sunday. It was in the Sunday Target ad that they were going to have them. My mother left a voicemail at 10AM saying she saw it. Kristin called our Target at like 10:15 and they said they had 8 left. We ran as fast as possible and got one. My mother also left another voicemail at like 10:15 (I didn’t have time to call her back) saying she got one as well. Her Target had a few left at 10:30AM. Mine had about 5 left at 11:00AM. Ridiculous. All this time struggling to get one and Target has them to spare 3 hours after they opened. At least now I get to open the controller, nunchuck and Tiger Woods golf that I got 2 months ago for Christmas. And I’ve played a few hours already. Wii Sports never gets old. It never gets old.

I wasn’t exactly live blogging the episode but here’s pretty much how it woulda went.
Oh man! Noooo!!! Oh jeez! Don’t do it!!! Christ! Holy crap!!! Shiiiiiiiit! Awww man! Awww man!!! ::sigh:: Awww no! ::sigh:: aaaaaaaaaargh aaaaaaaaaaargh aaaaaaaaah aaaaaaaaaaaaaargh.
Yeah, it was something like that. If only all the episodes could be that nuts. It was almost like watching an Eagles game. However, after that show I can go on with my life without contemplating suicide.

“If I (the ex boyfriend) wanted to get back together with you (the contestant), would you leave your husband?” How can they ask a question like that on Moment of Truth and still have a crappy show? Honestly, a show with so much promise and yet I don’t want to watch it. Not even after seeing that commercial do I want to watch this show. They ruined it with too much needless suspense and commercials. I mean when they only ask about 10 questions, if we’re lucky, over the course of an hour, it just isn’t worth watching. What a disappointment.

And so it came to pass that on the 16th day of the 2nd month of the year 2008, the Third Annual Terententen Lord of the Rings Festival came to fruition. It was slightly different than the 2nd annual. We started at 9:35AM but still ended at 11:00PM. And crazily, it seemed even faster than last year’s. 13 1/2 hours felt like 5 tops. Ridiculous. It’s a great day. I already can’t wait until next year’s. I think I want to try to shorten it down to 13 hours if possible. We’ll have to work on that. I think it’s possible. Or I can just stop being anal and let it run 13 hours 10 minutes. Or maybe leave it alone. I can’t handle 10 minutes. Less worry about timing, more worry about the greatest movies of all time. Better yet, February 2009, take your time. Time’s moving way too fast.

So good old Northeast High School made national news on Monday with what had to be one of the greatest pranks ever pulled at a school. Here’s a link from a Texas news site that goes into the great Philadelphia chicken prank. I can’t imagine what must have went through the janitor’s head as he walked into the building in the morning. I’d imagine there was no laughter. 80 or so chickens running around the halls eating and crapping and clucking. I mean the halls by our lockers used to smell terrible anyway with people putting crayons, other assorted crap and even piss in the radiator (and that wasn’t even a prank) but… nah, nevermind, there’s no way any amount of chicken crap could smell as bad as our radiator. Anyway, the class of 167 makes me feel kinda old… I was 159… but that’s life. Way to make the headlines Northeast.
