$87,000,000,000.00 is a lot of money.

Heck with pong. We just played about 3 hours of Smackdown. Only 16 regulation matches and 3 royal rumbles later, and it’s 4:00 somehow. Go figure. So much for catching up on sleep. Hey, at least I know that Bradshaw is the best wrestler ever! Except for Jeff Hardy who can take anything ANYONE can dish out… a numerous amount of times.

So last night was Bacardi Night at the G-Man. I did not know this when I went, because Venues never changes their “The Scene” section. I just figured that guy was going to play guitar all night. Boy was I wrong. I went to watch the game, but I left having undergone a metamorphasis some would say. No I didn’t… it wasn’t that spectacular. But it was a good addition to watching the baseball game. I mean with Bacardi girls in pretty little outfits walking around all night, and with their boo…………. Yeah, it was interesting so to speak. Every bar should have a strippers pole in it every night. It makes waiting for the bathroom a far more enjoyable task.

Red Sox lost, but what a night. G-Man Joe comes through again, proving to us that he is the coolest MF’er ever!

Let’s see. I went home Thursday right after my Boyz II Men post. I got home late, so didn’t go to a movie like I had originally planned. I got to see a movie on Friday night though. The Rundown was the most action packed movie ever. The Rock was astounding in his performance as an action packed smackdown layer who seemed to be a wrestler in a previous life. I didn’t care though, because from the beginning of the movie, he hilariously kicked the crap about of everybody. Even when he got the crap kicked out of him it was funny, because you knew that he was just going to come back and kick the crap out of them in the end. Hahaha. And Sean William Scott was pretty decent too. He wasn’t as stupid as he was in American Wedding, and he balanced The Rock fairly nicely. Rosario Dawson even had her moments too. As for Christopher Walken, he should have been more scary. But, let me tell you. I can’t wait to see it again when it comes out on DVD or something. The Rock is awesome. If you smelllllllllllllllllllllllalalalala what The Rock… and TerenTenTen, are cooking.

On Saturday I went to see Once Upon A Time In Mexico. It was no Desperado… it was just alright. It really didn’t feel like the sequel to Desperado; El Mariachi wasn’t even the main character. There’s nothing wrong with Johnny Depp being the main character, it just wasn’t what I was expecting. It still had some of the great action we saw in its prequel, but Antonio wasn’t nearly as cool in this movie. He wasn’t dark, he wasn’t mysterious, everyone knew where he was all the time, and they were able to get the upper hand most of those times. Besides those main problems, how could it be anywhere near Desperado with Salma Hayek having such a small role as she did. Anyway, it was still a good movie. Just not Desperado caliber. When the 3 movie box set comes out with El Mariachi, Desperado, and Once Upon A Time In Mexico, I’ll be sure to buy it. At least I knocked two movies off my list this weekend. Sorry School of Rock. Looks like you have to wait til Divx… I mean DVD. Yeah, DVD.

Since I only miss the one class that I have on Friday’s thanks to our “study day”, I’m hereby declaring today the beginning of Fall Break 2003. Therefore, no one has to go to classes today, Thursday, October 9, 2003. Chances are since I just slept til now though, and you all missed my declaration, you all went to your classes. Sorry.

Oh, and John’s Roast Pork… you and I got a date tomorrow.

Let me tell you, I feel ripped off for never getting to see Lynyrd Skynyrd live in concert with all the original members. I just watched them play Freebird live in 1977 on TV, and I was just amazed. Aside from simply not having guitar parts like that in a song anymore, Allen Collins played the entire solo live, not missing an ounce of passion. Allen Collins wasn’t the man on slide guitar, that part doesn’t seem too tough as long as you can play slide guitar, which I can’t figure out, even after watching him play it exactly how I thought you weren’t supposed to play slide. But that’s besides the point. Allen Collins completely nailed the solo… the long solo. And no guitarist today would probably even try to play it, and if they did, they’d probably cheat it all kinds of ways on stage. What a shame we’ve lost so many great musicians over the years.

I missed the last half hour of MacGyver watching what was some of the most unusual minutes of football I’ve ever seen. Earlier in the night Keyshawn was taking shots at Harrison, but I believe Harrison got the last laugh on this one. The Tampa Bay Bucaneers give up 28 points in the 4th quarter, and are forced to go to overtime, where Vanderjagt shanks his first kick, however Rice is called for leaping so Vanderjagt gets another shot at it. This time he shanks it again, but it’s slightly tipped towards the uprights, bangs the right upright, and then darts between them. Stunning victory by the Colts.
