That’s right folks, it’s the 1 year anniversary of Terententen.com. December 8th is the big day. And before this day, I need to renew my domain name. The bad news is I gotta spend more money on a website that really only 4 or 5 people visit. The good news is I can buy a 2nd, brand new, domain for really cheap. I’m really interested in this deal, but I can’t figure out what domain name I should snag up. Help me out.

Wait a minute… that’s your big secret? Alcohol?
Shhh. Don’t tell anybody.
But isn’t that just a temporary solution?
It’s only temporary if you stop drinking!

at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, and it was glorious. It was a surreal experience, as I have now seen a legend and one of my musical heroes live. Really larger than life. On top of being one of the greatest musicians and songwriters ever, he was hilarious the whole night. It’s about as close as I’ll ever come to seeing the Beatles so it was definitely worth it. The tickets cost a fortune, but the trick was buying them 6-7 months in advance so that when you actually see the concert, you don’t miss the money one bit. The show ran for 2 1/2 hours and Paul was outstanding. He played 2 encores and all his huge hits as well as tons of Beatles songs. He only played like 3 songs that I didn’t know, I think 2 of which were off his new album. I think I’ll go buy it because I liked them. There were some amazing songs he played but the “Live and Let Die” was incredibly energetic. You forget the man is 63 and instead feel like you’re back in the 70s at a Wings show. The Beatles stuff was certainly different. Some of the songs hit it on the head, but some of it you just have to imagine. I mean the rest of the band is really great, but it’s not the Beatles. But not many people got a chance to see the Beatles perform live anyway. Paul is just awesome. All night I just relived my childhood growing up with these songs. I mean “I Will” could have been my favorite song growing up. With each song you just hear history and when you thought about each song being played, and the magnitude of most of them, you just got chills. I think I had chills half the show and the other half I just had to force myself to relax. “Let It Be”, “Maybe I’m Amazed”, “Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band”, “Band on the Run” and “Blackbird” were just some more of the songs. The whole crowd got into “Hey Jude” for about 10 minutes and then in the encores he breaks out flippin Yesterday. Yesterday!!! Paul, on stage with an acoustic guitar, performing Yesterday. It’s like the greatest song ever, performed by the guy who wrote it, the exact way he played it for the first time. That’s just how it’s done. This is probably an experience I’ll never have again and I was just devastated it had to end. But what a night.

Black Friday was nice to me. I was up at 5:30AM and out the door by 7 I think. Close enough. First stop Best Buy. Yeah, I know I said I’d never go back, but they had $4!!! DVDs that were actually worth buying. I got 8 Mile, Billy Madison Special Edition and Happy Gilmore Special Edition. Then I went to Circuit City to pick up Anger Management for $5. So now I’m halfway towards my Adam Sandler collection and I filled 3 of them for $13. Then I went to the mall. Nothing there but traffic. But I got a $10 coupon at Macy’s so that isn’t bad at all. I was a 1:29 winner. Then I went home and went to sleep. The end.

The Courtship of Stewie’s Father is certainly the funniest Family Guy episode in a long time. Definitely the right direction.

So that’s what happened to Eugene. He passed out in a hotel lobby hopped up on prescription drugs. Then he gets suspended from the WWE. I wish he’d get suspended from my Smackdown vs. Raw 2006.
