I haven’t been posting to the site or the message board very much. For a while I was trying to redesign the site but never had any luck. Over the last week, I really got into it and thought it might get done. I started doing an overhaul of not only the design, but the CMS as well. As of right now however, some of this might get done and some will not. The design is most likely going to have to wait. I just got something else on my table and can’t spend any more time redesigning. I will on the other hand be changing the CMS which will allow me to add more features to the page. I will also probably throw in some more content that I’ve been meaning to for a long time. The posts will still be light while I change the CMS because I don’t want to have to migrate post after post to the new system after I already brought everything else over already. I just wanted to give everyone a heads up as to why I haven’t posted in the last week. I’d say 90% of you only really need Football Talk anyway.

I stopped on the way home today to get gas and it made me think. I went to a place that’s “on the way home” but it’s really not. I have to drive about an extra 2.5 miles to get there and it takes about 3 minutes each way to get to and fro the highway. The gas is cheaper though than the place right by my house. $.08 by debit and $.13 by cash. I had no cash. $.08. So was it cheaper for me to go to the cheaper gas place? Nope. I came home and figured it out. Multiplying that 6 minutes lost by what my salary says that 6 minutes is worth, then adding the mileage times what the mileage cost and then subtracting how much I actually saved, it says I actually spent $2.02 to save $.84. That doesn’t sound to savvy. I spent $1.18 to lose 6 minutes of my life and to drive an extra 2.5 miles. I won’t be doing that again. And I don’t even want to think about how much it cost me to figure all this out.

Well it looks like Terententen.com will be around for another year as I just got done renewing the domain name. Yay! Congratulations. Thank you. My goal for this year is to bring in a bunch more readers, regulars and sports talkers. Heck, who am I kidding. I do it for all approximately less than 10 of you which I think has even dwindled to about 5 in the last year. But you know who you are. So you better appreciate it.

I did not on the other hand pick up another domain for cheap like I had originally planned. There’s nothing I could think of getting that was worthwhile. Since Huggybear.com was taken, I thought of HuggybearProductions.com but that was also taken by some stupid LA dance studio. I thought of MonstazInc.com, but realized Monstaz Inc. really doesn’t need a website. I tried to make one. Really… I did. However, I quickly learned that 1 CD and no news doesn’t warrant a website. There’s only 1 domain that I’m still thinking about seriously which I’m not gonna mention because it may just be a surprise for later on in the year. And if I get it then, it’s only $9.20 so I think I can spare the extra $7.00. Yeah I can.

I never feel lazier than when I sleep for 12-14 hours. This was either a long time coming or finally staying up all day after working my grave shift caught up with me or playing too many hours of Smackdown vs. Raw 2006 is tiring or that Eagles loss made me never want to wake up. Maybe it’s a combination of all of them. It still doesn’t make me feel any less lazy though.
