Since I got my amp for Christmas, I’ve been playing guitar an awful lot. I’ve also been going to Guitar Center more because that’s always fun. I’ve had my wish list for quite some time, but after yesterday, one more guitar has been added and has knocked some others down a few notches. At number 1, we have my baby. The Taylor 814ce in Sunburst. Playing this guitar brings a tear to my eye, looking at this guitar brings a tear to my eye and putting it down makes me cry. At number 2, we have an American Deluxe Stratocaster. I have no real color preference, but that Chrome Silver Rosewood looks mighty fine. Next, at number 3, we have the newest addition to the list, the Taylor T5 Standard in Honey Sunburst. I played this yesterday for the first time and it just blew me away. You can play it like an acoustic or an electric, but it really plays like an electric. It was amazing. At number 4 we have the Gibson SG Standard. This used to be my number 1, but times have changed and so have my views. However, it’s still a favorite and I’ll take it in Heritage Cherry. I don’t have a 5th right now, but I already have my Les Paul and who needs more than 5 guitars? I think I could be happy with those 5 in my arsenal, but I’m sure I could find more to get if I ever had to.

Just got done watching Love Monkey from last night and it was awesome. This show is going somewhere. They better not pull this show like they’re pulling everything else that isn’t CSI or Law & Order. They’re good shows, but we don’t need them on twice a day all week. We need Love Monkey. And more Ed reruns. Yeah, them too.

I never do memes because for the most part, they’re retarded, but I saw this one at Buzzstuff and thought it was actually good. I got an iPod because iTunes makes this stuff so friggin easy to check so I figure I may as well take advantage of it.

I watched Underworld last night for the first time so that I could see Underworld Evolution tonight. Underworld Evolution was much easier to follow than Underworld was which is why I like Underworld a little more, but the ease of following didn’t make that big of a difference. I liked both movies as if they were the same. The whole vampire thing… the whole hot vampire thing is very nice. Every movie should have a hot vampire in leather. Seriously, it should be a prerequisite. But Michael’s character, albeit large, I just don’t like. Especially the love between him and Selene. I didn’t see how their love grew in the first movie which is probably what pisses me off the most. I feel like I have a bigger connection with Selene than Michael has. It was just ridiculous. Oh, and all the bullets. Bullets flying everywhere and sometimes people die and sometimes they don’t. If swords work so well, why not use more swords? Shit, I wouldn’t leave home without one. But still, in the end, the story is good which makes for a quick couple of hours. I read a review of this movie from a reader of the NY Times and it really hits the movie right on the head. “You will have a lot of fun with this movie if you are into vampires, werewolves, action and pseudo-history. The movie is generally more complicated than most fantasy but you can still follow it. Some bits are somewhat of a stretch but you can let it go. It is fun and entertaining. With the exception of the bland Scott Speedman, the actors do good work.”

I went to ESPN.com 30 minutes ago and it looked like normal. No new articles, everything in place. I go there now, and BOOM, it’s redesigned. I like it. A nice new rotating scoreboard at the top, rotating links to give me a taste of everything, right beside the logo, rotating tv listings, an MSNBC type listing of columns and features based on each sport, a nicer spotlight by sport with a nice big picture of Maria Sharapova, and hell, a cleaner look all around. I’m gonna enjoy this new ESPN.com. I wish someone would make a new Terententen.com. Yeah, a good one. Freakin’ idiot!

For those of you who don’t make your way around the Internet like Terententen does, I feel like I have done you all a disservice. It has been mentioned somewhere around here last week by Rob, but since I wasn’t posting much, I never came out and made a whole post on it. Well here it is, the newest Internet fad, Chuck Norris Facts These things are so friggin dangerously hilarious, I almost think Chuck himself came up with them.
Speaking of dangerous, I think Chuck Norris may have a Steve Smith costume because I don’t think anyone but Chuck Norris could be that awesome. One day he might just roundhouse kick a corner and let us know for sure, but until then, I’m just gonna hypothesize. I mean they say that Chuck is 5′10″ and Steve is 5′9″. I’m sure Chuck’s doing that just to trick us. And, Chuck stopped doing Walker Texas Ranger in 2001, just in time for Steve Smith’s rookie year. That’s a little too much of a coincidence for me. He may have everyone else fooled, but I see through him. I’m on to you Chuck Norris… Just don’t hurt me for blowing your cover.
