You know, I haven’t posted in a long time so I’ll give you something good.

Here is a picture from my trip to Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum last Friday. See, I’ve been, umm, busy. And with no pre-nup, I’m a rich, rich man. I have some other pictures from the museum. Maybe I’ll throw them up on the pictures page sometime.

Yes sir, it’s that time of the year again. Well not quite. The draft is set for Sat Aug 5 12:30pm PDT, which is 54 days, 16 hours from now. The league ID# is 40983 and we all know the password. We should have a full 10 teams in this league. Fantasy sports are just getting better each year. No more 6 team leagues anymore. Don’t give the info out for that reason though because we need all our regulars in before we try to fill in wholes. It should be a great season, a few have been psyched for a couple weeks already and I’m starting to feel it myself. I just still have to focus on baseball for now. But August… oh yes, August and September are right around the corner.

Alright, here’s my memoirs on Los Angeles. In retrospect, it’s a weird place. A lot of the people there are hill people who live in the sides of hills despite the fact that it is prone to earthquakes and mudslides. That to me is insanity. They bitch that their houses get destroyed by mudslides but they live on the side of mountains because it has a nice view. I say tough shit next time you lose your house. But my thoughts don’t matter. So lets see what happened. I got there at like 12:30 AM Friday morning and promptly got lost because my directions failed to mention 2 whole streets. I woke up Friday morning and we went to the NBC studio tour and saw the Days of Our Lives, Telemundo and the Tonight Show studios. It was neat. After that, we went to the La Brea Tar Pits because they’re pretty famous. It coulda been cooler. It looked more like dirty water than tar. Then we went to the “famous” Farmer’s Market. It was by this market at The Grove where I finally found my new sandals. After that, we rested a bit, then hit up the Hollywood sign from the side of the mountain where the aforementioned hill people live. On the way back down, we visited the less famous, but pretty crazy, Garden of Oz, which you need a key to get in to, but my father’s friend had one so we got in. It’s the kind of place where they lure you in to kill you, however we visited in the middle of the day so it was just neat. I’ll remember this place for a long time. After that, we went to the Norton Simon Museum of Art. It was certainly not my choice, but I went anyway. Art stinks. Picasso frickin painted a sock puppet seahorse on canvas, called it “Head of a Woman” and is famous. By the way, “Head of a Woman” is my new favorite painting. After that, we drove through Pasadena, ate dinner at a trendy Italian restaurant which was good, and went home.
On Saturday, we woke up and went to the Hollywood Walk of Fame. It’s kinda something you have to see. It’s not as impressive as it should be though. There are celebrity stars and then celebrity handprints at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre From there we drove to Dodger Stadium to watch the Phillies get supremely spanked 8-2. Luckily the Phils split the 4 game series. While we were there, I was trying to find some good beer and Kristin saw a bunch of security guards. I didn’t care about security because I was thirsty. Turns out, Jessica Alba was at the game. If I woulda known it was her, I would have at least stopped for a peak. You can say that was a dumb move, I regret it a bit, but it could easily have been someone like Ben Affleck and then I woulda been pissed he slowed me down. Anyway, after the game we ate at the famous Canter’s Deli which was no Katz’s but it was comparable to some Philly delicatessens. That’s pretty much it. After dinner we toured the hill people’s neighborhood’s to get some good views, and drove down the Sunset Strip to see the famous clubs like the Roxy, the Whiskey and the Comedy Club. Then we hit up a Sunset Strip Starbucks because now I can say I had coffee from a Sunset Strip Starbucks.
The next morning we came home. We stopped in Barstow to eat at Panda Express, drove by the “it should be famous” Zyzyx Road and made it home in one piece.

I finally saw X-Men 3 last night and I really enjoyed it. I’d put it right up there with the first X-Men movie. It could have been much better though. There were too many non important characters and not enough Gambit. And they could have portrayed Phoenix much better. Like red glowy awesomeness. They killed off too many people, but I like how they did leave it wide open for another movie if we get lucky enough. Magneto just cannot lose his powers to some stupid mutant cure. But it would sure be nice if they went on and did a 4th one and it would be even better if they brought Brian Singer back because X2 was by far the best film. However, it looks like he’s already set to do Superman sequel which would set him back another few years. It doesn’t look it’s gonna happen. But back to the movie. Juggernaut was awesome. He was always a favorite. And Phoenix’s powers were incredible too. Shoulda posted this last night while the thoughts were more fresh in my mind, but I’ll I’m definitely looking forward to the DVD release. And I’m definitely looking forward to the Wolverine movie due out next year. That should be outstanding.

Sara Jean Underwood is the July 2006 Playboy Centerfold and she is amazing enough for me to warrant a blog post for her. Unfortunately… but fortunately… yet still unfortunately… after looking through a lot of her pictures, I could not find a non nude picture of her. And since I keep this website safe for work, I could not post a picture here. However, if you copy this next string —> “Sara Jean Underwood” and paste it into a Google search, you will be happy. Whoops, I think I helped you out a little too much there with that link. Gorgeous!

So I’ve been back for a few days and I realized I never posted. I was originally going to post during the trip since I had Internet access, but I was too lazy. Then I was going to post when I got home Sunday but I was too lazy. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday… too lazy. Maybe tomorrow. Some things I will touch on are:
