Damage Control Sucks.

It sure does.
Note to self: Don’t watch MTV2 ever again.

Sooooo cold.

Long time no see. Anyway. What kind of dumbass goes to a Phillies game in the pouring rain? Me. That’s who. And Tim and Matt. Pouring frickin rain and we drive all the way down there, pay $10 for parking and then pay to get into the game. All the time it’s pouring rain. And not a drizzle. I swear you would need swimming lessons to survive what we were standing in. Turns out we stood in that for like 49.7 hours. Yes. It wouldn’t stop. I was never so cold in my entire life. I think Matt has hypothermia or something. My shoes won’t be dry for a month and a half. Anyway, it stopped raining for like 10 minutes sometimes… alright, enough to play 5 1/2 innings, but I don’t think it EVER stopped raining. Finally we left after I cried to the Marlins bullpen since they wouldn’t throw me a ball. I didn’t cry. We waited at least an hour after they stopped before we left and on the way home, they called the game. The Phillies lost 2-1. What a shock. At least there was this really hot chick under some sign in a white t-shirt. Too bad I needed winshield whipers on my glasses to see 5 feet in front of my face. But now my voice is gone so that’s about it. Tomorrow I’m flying back to Vegas. Who is Mike Jones? I don’t know ass. Shut up. Trade in your breakfast for this dannon frusion smoothie! I can’t believe you don’t shut up. I’m out.

Update

Ok, it seems like the page is back up again. Everytime I’ve managed to be able to get online since I got to Philadelphia on Sunday, it’s been down. Not that I really had anything to post about anyway. I’ve just been relaxing. It was too cold to sit outside until today, but now it hit 70 so I figure I can come out on the step and steal someone’s internet. Florida was great. It was really warm and sunny like I guess it is most of the time. Maybe when I get back to Vegas it’ll be warm and sunny too. The place we stayed was amazing. And Kristin’s uncle’s places were pretty much Cribs-esque. It’s a shame practically no one can afford to live in a place like that. I’d post pictures, but it’d be wrong showing pictures of other people’s houses online. You really can’t imagine it though. We got there Friday night and just did nothing. Saturday we got up early for the surprise lunch-in at their condo and just drank and ate all afternoon. Then Friday night was the 2nd surprise party where we ate and drank all night, only this time at the country club. Sunday I just flew home and I already told you what I’ve been doing since. It’s good just laying around and not thinking about going to work. Only 17,306 days until retirement, but who’s counting?

Vacation time.

I got paid tonight. Finally. 7.5 hours of OT equates to a nice extra chunk of cash. Perfect for that iPod I’m thinking about. I leave in the morning around 12:00PT. I get to Florida late tomorrow night. I can’t wait to get out of here. Definitely sick of the grind. But Brett, that show isn’t on anymore. How can you be sick of a show that hasn’t been on TV in years. Dude, I can’t believe you don’t shut up. Well 9 days away from work should be good for what ails me. Since I probably won’t be online until at least Sunday night, and probably too tired to post regardless, Sunday is the 1 year anniversary of the Monstaz Inc. & the 1501 Family – Turning A Prophet release party. 1 year. It’s shocking. My baby’s all growned up. If anyone wants a copy who does not have one, I’m sure we can reprint some in honor of this wonderful occasion. Yes it is wonderful. Maybe if we’re lucky, I can have another album out by the 2 year anniversary. Damn Brett, get your act together. I’m trying folks, I’m trying. Still need beats. I think money grows on trees faster than beats. But I think I still really want a rock album out before another rap album. Maybe a double album! But it all requires me to get my acoustic guitar and my new computer. This post has gone sour. I can’t wait to get done with the MP3s so I can start living again. Almost done. I’ve finished almost 5,000 I think. Just a few thousand more to go and I’m all set.

MP3s are consuming my life.

Sorry for the lack of posts lately. With the overtime every day, doing other stuff I need to do to survive and working on my MP3s, I can’t find any time to post stuff to brighten up your day. The good news though is that I’m moving along pretty well with the MP3 project and it will not take a month as I previously planned for. I don’t think I’ll have it done by Friday which is when I’m leaving, but I will most certainly get it done next week while I’m home. Man, I can’t wait to go home. Then I have to start planning. I’m gonna get a new MP3 player. I’m leaning toward the iPod which is why I’m converting all my WMAs to MP3s. I got Kristin an iPod mini for her birthday and while I was researching them, I realized that I wanted one as well. So I don’t know if I want a 6GB mini or a 30GB photo, but I know I gotta decide sometime in the next week. I’m sure I’ll have a comparison post of the two sometime so that you can help me make up my mind which will probably already be made up. But thanks for the help in advance. No more rambling. I’m at work here people. Leave me alone.

I just picked up 6 tickets for the Red Hot Chilli Peppers/Weezer show for July 2nd. I’m psyched. Only a few more months to go. Get over to Vegas Rocks 100 and try to get some tickets. If you can’t get them, let me know and I’ll see what I can do. So so awesome.

Stupid peanut butter.

Yeah, so I was supposed to go to the doctor’s today to get some blood work done and they said I can’t eat for 8 hours prior which is standard stuff. I wanted to make something so it’d be ready when I got out of the doctor’s because I knew I’d be hungry and should eat something. So I’m making a smoothie with peanut butter in it and my dumbass goes and licks the spoon. I didn’t even realize I did it until I was on my way there. To make a long story longer, they said I would have to come back because I ate like a 1/4 teaspoon of peanut butter. I have to go on a Monday morning because it’s the only day I’m awake when they’re open and I haven’t eaten in 8 hours. It took me over a month to get there and now it looks as if it’s gonna take another 3 weeks before I can try again. But I can’t get mad at peanut butter. It’s too good to be mad at.

I never posted this but on 4/13, I spent $2.479/g. It appears as if gas prices are subsiding a bit. I spoke to Kristin the next day and she spent considerably less from the same place. And now I expect to get gas on Tuesday, and I am hoping to spend below $2.39 which is what I am seeing now. This is good news folks because I may have to start using the air conditioning with the nice warm temperatures we’re beginning to get here. I swear it was almost 90 and sunny today. Time to put the tinting to use and crank the air because the sun felt like it was melting my face today.

Back in action.

Woooooooo! Terententen.com is back after being down for about 24 hours. I don’t know why it was down; I just know my host’s website was down also. But I’m back. I have some backed up posts I have to write that I couldn’t, so I’ll try and get them up soon. Elevator temporarily stairs. Sorry for the convenience.
