For the 2nd year in a row, Terententen brings you the most hallowed analytical information in the entire world of sports, TerenTenTen’s… NFL 2006 Expert Picks. I’m not exactly sure how well we did last year compared to the experts, however I am sure it was better if not only for the reason that they’re retards who I don’t even think watch football. Once again, enjoy the season.

Nip/Tuck Tuesday

Tomorrow is the first Nip/Tuck Tuesday of the season. That my friends is awesome. This week in general is awesome. Football starts on Thursday which is also a pay day, the WNBA won’t get in the way of good programming after Saturday, the Eagles play on Sunday and then there’s hours more football on Sunday and Monday, then to top it off, I have off Monday and Tuesday. There’s lots of stuff to look forward to, probably so much, I’m forgetting a lot of it. Here’s a picture of Kimber. You’re welcome.

Crikey! More like holy crap.

I was trying to go to sleep last night when I heard the crappy news about Steve Irwin. Such a stupid freak accident. It wouldn’t have been a freak accident if he was eaten by a mighty croc, but a stupid sting ray? To play around with an animal who can deliver a 3000psi bite only to get killed by a fish? A damn fish. I say we all start eating as much seafood as we can now. Get back at those stupid fish for taking what was one hell of a charasmatic guy. What a shame. The people over at WWTDD? said it best with, “A stingray? A damn stingray? This dude spent 40 hours a day poking dinosaurs with sticks and he gets it from a damn stingray? They’re supposed to sting and ray things, not impale people who entertain me. They’re damn fish, not Jason. You’re not funny Irony. This is why everybody hates you.” But nobody hated you Crocodile Hunter. Nobody hated you. I’ll leave you all with a picture of Steve with the greatest of all animals. And although his wife seems nice on TV, I’m not talking about her.

Invincible

Yesterday I saw Invincible and it was glorious. Right from the intro, perfectly set to music from Philly’s own Jim Croce, you watched the people and just thought about home. Sure it was the 70s but it didn’t change that much from when I was growing up. Moreso than in any Philadelphia movie, I really felt like they were my people in the stands, my people walking the streets, even the houses, the way of life, and hell, even the same old Eagles. But they’re our Eagles and throughout the movie there was always hope. Hope that Vince would make the team and hope that the Eagles would win and someday turn this thing around. It wasn’t a real big football movie like Any Given Sunday and it wasn’t a real big underdog movie like Rudy but it found a good place for itself and certainly hit the spot. Mark Wahlberg played a great athlete and he played an even better blue collar guy. I just really liked everything about the movie. The whole cast, the fact it’s set in Philadelphia and also that it’s about the best football team in all of the land.

Alright, 1 hour and 26 minutes later and it’s all done. Good luck.

Oh I can’t leave it like that. So we had a good turnout. And we already had a move. I may have to put a cap on this league. Anyway, I think we actually had 80%-90% which is just outstanding. So many people talking I didn’t even know that many people showed. There was so much build up for this draft it was insane. I guess we’ll just have to see how it goes. I don’t think this league’ll let us down though. It should be a fun year. And with only 1 draft league and gridiron, I may just be able to bring back my fantasy rant. I know some will be excited for that. Almost as excited as the actual season starting. What time is it? GAME TIME HUH!!!

I’ll post my team later but for now I gotta go pick out tile and cabinets.

Let’s go State!
