And no, it’s not what you think. It’s the movie of the year. Yeah, I know I said Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer was the movie I was waiting for most, but that one’s coming out tomorrow and I could almost care less now. Well not quite. Sorry Silver Surfer, I still can’t wait to see you on Saturday. Man, now I feel bad. But anyway, the movie I wasn’t sure when it was coming out but I just found out about it because there’s a commercial now is The Bourne Ultimatum. I knew it was coming out soon but I didn’t think end of summer soon. Oh man, August 3rd. Awesome.

I’m currently watching: NBA Basketball: San Antonia Spurs at Cleveland Cavaliers. Finals game 4

There’s another milestone about to be reached. Most of us new it was coming, much sooner than we had hoped, but it’s already making national news apparently. I was hoping for it to just pop up on ESPN one day however the NY Times has put an article up months ahead of schedule. They probably think they figured something out that most people don’t know. And I bet most don’t know it. Just most of us lifelong Phillies fans. Milestone Marks What Phillies Fans Already Knew. Well it’s coming, sometime this year, in a not too distant game from right now. And Celebrate 10,000 is up and counting down to the woeful day. It’s not something I’m particularly proud of however it is something to be known. And yes, I do want a cookie. And some of that steak I was talking about.

Holy crap! Comments are finally back. After pulling my hair out since Tuesday – giving up, moving to a new CMS, deciding that it’s a bad idea and coming back, I’ve finally solved the broken comments issue. Apparently when my host switched servers, he used a different version of PHP which rendered my comments useless. I was finally able to find a fix for it so now I can go back to living my life. Phew.

OK, so apparently the comments don’t work. Unfornuately I can’t fix them from work and I won’t be home tonight to work on them but it should be an easy fix that I’ll take care of tomorrow. In my defense, I did create a new section in Sports Talk yesterday called Sports Talk Misc. and it’s for non sports talk information. Stuff like, “Hey Brett, comments aren’t working. Fix them.” and other stuff like, “Hey Rob, how much do you charge an hour for GBS?”. Stuff like that. Now don’t go posting comments for the blog posts in the sports talk misc. section, that stuff can wait until tomorrow I hope, however if you find that comments are down and there’s no way to inform me of it because you suddenly got amnesia and forgot how to send email, you now have a way to let me know.

Anyone interested in doing Summer Mixes again this year? Because if you are, it’s almost that time again. June 21st is the first day of summer. I had originally wanted to post about this earlier so we had a month to get them ready but with all the problems with the page, that can’t happen now. But who says they have to be ready on the first day of summer? If you decided to do one, get it ready so that it can be sent out by… how about July 1st? That’s almost a full month to get them ready. If everyone has em ready by June 21st, then we’ll do that, but post some comments and let everyone know where you stand.
